The Architectural Capital of Tuscany

One of the most beautiful cities on earth, Florence is the cultural, artistic and architectural capital of Tuscany.

It’s not a huge city – you can (and should) walk right from one end of the historic centre to the other in 30 minutes– yet somehow it crams in an astonishing 80 museums, stunning bridges, sublime medieval streets and more. Indeed, that 30 minute stroll can easily last several days, given all the opportunities for browsing boutiques, admiring artistry and lingering over inimitable Italian coffee. If you like to watch the world go by, this is a gorgeous place to do it.
