Australia's Cultural Capital

Australia’s second city, Melbourne offers an entirely different experience to Sydney – and arguably does Oz greater justice than its glitzier counterpart.

Sydney may have the iconic showpieces, but Melbourne is undisputedly Australia’s cultural capital, with an incredible array of museums, art galleries, theatres and sporting venues to take in. It’s almost European in feel, with a thriving coffee shop culture and Victorian-era architecture lining the streets – but head out to the nearby Great Ocean Road, and there’s no doubting you’re in rugged, beautiful Australia.
